I was born and raised in Perth, completed a BSc(Physics) at Curtin University and BMus(Contemporary) at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. My first encounter with programming began when my dad brought home a 386 with QBasic. I'd make simple text-based games, put them on a floppy disk and trade them with one of my school friends. We’d go back and forth, always trying to one-up each other.
It wouldn’t be until years later that I would touch programming again. It began with Andrew Ng’s Machine Learning course, followed by courses in Python and entering Kaggle competitions. This website is built using Python’s Flask web framework and is dedicated to tracking concepts and ideas I’ve found interesting relating to Python, forecasting and machine learning. They say you don’t truly understand something until you can teach it, and this is my attempt at just that.
